Demo

A demo is an optional sample or trial class provided once to a student by TheOnlineMaster for free of cost.

1. Demo class will be conducted for 30 minutes.
2. It will be on Google Meet or Zoom or (any Video Conferencing App) and the class will be recorded for training and quality purposes.
3. Objective of demo is to assess student's level and give parents an experience of online class. Also to show parents the way in which program is taught online by our well experienced teachers.
4. We do not commit the same teacher who took demo class as your regular class teacher. It may vary based on parents and teacher availability. However, all available options will be shared to suit your convenience.

Regular classes

1. Each regular session duration is 45 minutes (applicable for one-on-one and for batch classes).
2. Student classes will be conducted on Google Meet or Zoom or (any Video Conferencing App).
3. We provide the best possible Online learning environment with a complete learning process — Assignments, Periodical assessments, Announcements, Teacher communications, Course materials, Progress reports, Parents teachers online meeting etc.
4. To ensure the best possible quality of training and to continually improve our training programs, we may record the live sessions conducted by our teachers. These recordings will be used solely for internal purposes, specifically for training and quality assessment.
5. Digital Certificates will be provided after completion of each level.

Onboarding Process

An Onboarding email with your teacher details, fees details, course details, personal relationship manager details, technology prerequisite details will be sent to the student before their first class.

Relationship Manager

A dedicated relationship manager is assigned to every student and the parent may reach them for any queries or issues through calls or WhatsApp messages. The manager will give parents a call back in case if missed the call and responds to all your queries within a maximum of 48 hours.

Certificate and Homework

Only digital copies of certificates, course materials and homework material will be provided.

Cover-up classes

There will be cover-up class for any session that will be canceled by TheOnlineMaster due to any reason including but not limited to technical issues, internet downtime, natural calamity.

There will be no refund for any class missed by the student, on mutual agreement, a maximum of 1 cover up sessions will be given as a compensation for every eight classes for the prior communicated canceled class by student. The cover-up session may happen in another ongoing batch where the missed topic is being taught. We do not commit the same teacher/time/days for the cover-up class (the same will be on mutual agreement). The particular class recordings will be shared on special request from parents to the student if the student missed the class and missing the cover-up class will be counted as missed class and cannot be rescheduled again.

We expect the student to attend all the sessions to maintain the momentum of learning, unless very urgent and unavoidable — please do not miss the sessions.

Cancellation of classes

In case of one-on-one classes or batch classes, if due to unavoidable situations, parents want us to cancel a specific session, in that case, they are responsible for communicating the same with us at least two hours (2 hours) in prior to the class timing. Only that prior communicated canceled class will be able to give the cover-up classes based on their allowed count or video recording will be sent on special request by the parent.

Missing of classes

The teacher will always join before the class time and assure to add value to your time. We expect the student also to join every class on time. The teacher will wait for 15 minutes in the class meeting and end the meeting if the student did not join at first 15 minutes. The student joining later that time will miss the class and cannot be asked for reschedule.

Long Breaks / Vacations

If students are going on vacation or long breaks in between the course has to be communicated in writing before taking a break. The number of classes missed during the vacation break will be compensated with bridging classes. We do not commit the same teacher/batch/time/days after the break or for bridge classes. However, options of multiple batches will be shared to suit your convenience.

Shifting of days and time

In case parents wish to change from an existing batch or schedule, your relationship manager will assist parents with available options for your student's level. In general shifting can be done only after completion of a level.

Substitute Teacher

Due to medical, personal, technical issues at teacher's end, TheOnlineMaster reserves the right to provide substitute teachers for our students.

Change of Teacher

As a student, parents agree to enroll with TheOnlineMaster as an institute and not with an individual teacher; TheOnlineMaster reserves the right to change teachers for a class/batch on logical grounds maintaining the interest of our students.

Use of 3rd Party Application

For real time experience and for making the curriculum relatable, the teacher may at times utilize third party resources like YouTube, Google, relevant information on websites etc and other apps/portals. We respect the content creators and we use them based only on copyright of the content and for teaching purposes only.

Safety and Privacy

We assured that the privacy, security of our students and their personal information remain our top priority. We will strictly adhere to all data protection regulations to safeguard your child's identity and confidentiality.

Cancel of Course

TheOnlineMaster has the right to cancel a subject/course with prior notice of one month, fees paid for the unused service at that scenario will be refunded to the parents respectively.

Cancel of Subscription

TheOnlineMaster may cancel course subscription of a student if the student does not attend the classes consecutively for three times without any communication or if the student did not pay the fees dues even after two weeks of the class or in cases if the student manners are extremely not ethical.

Change of Policy

We reserve the right to modify/amend/replace this Policy at any time, as deemed fit by us, without any prior notice to parents.

Language Practice Sessions — TOM Language Club

Language Practice sessions is the platform where TOM internal kids participate for events or workshops. It is sometimes like a contest where students compete with each other on theme based or non-theme based sessions. These practice sessions will be hosted by our teachers.

1. The Practice sessions are complementary and in case parents miss the session, cover-up sessions will not be provided.
2. If in case the practice sessions are canceled due to technical or operational concerns, TheOnlineMaster is not liable to compensate for the same.
